Lala + Pippi was created by milliner and mum of two, Abigail Fergusson, in an effort to keep her kids protected from Australia’s harsh sun in a fun yet functional way.
Lala + Pippi sun hats are designed in bold, vibrant prints to make it easy to spot your child when out and about and the broad brim bucket hat design protects your child’s face, neck, nose and ears from the sun’s UV rays, with a chin tie secure to ensure it stays on. They come in a variety of sizes to fit kids of all ages.
Who are Lala + Pippi? The name was inspired by my daughter’s mischievous imaginary friends who join us on our outdoor adventures.
Each hat is lovingly handmade by Abigail in her home studio on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Each print is produced in small batches with only one or two being made in each size.
Abigail has a Certificate 3 in Millinery from TAFE NSW Sydney Institute and am a Fellow member of the Millinery Association of Australia.
